Job summary

Synear Foods USA LLC is hiring for a full-time Production Operator in the Los Angeles area. You will operate assigned machines, conduct product tests, and ensure quality standards are met while maintaining strict safety protocols.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in food manufacturing, and be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Overtime and weekend work may be required; starting shift is 4:30 am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment; machine operating experience required.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
• Ability to do basic mathematical calculation.
• English reading, writing and communication required.
• Shift: 1st shift starting around 4:30 am; 3:00 pm finish depending on area.
• Flexible for overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production machines in designated areas.
• Conduct product tests at start of production or after changeovers to ensure quality.
• Make minor equipment adjustments as needed.
• Notify production management of equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Fill out production forms to track results as required.
• Report any machine inaccuracies to management.
• Wear all required PPE and adhere to safety procedures (SOPs, food safety).
• Participate in health and safety trainings and monthly meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Be familiar with all the processes and procedures for operating the machines in the assigned areas

Conduct product test in the beginning of the production or after each changeover to ensure that the product quality meets the company standards

Be able to conduct minor adjustment of the equipment

Notify the production management of equipment malfunction or breakdown immediately

Fill out different production forms to track the production results as required

Notify the production management for any inaccuracy of the machines

Equip yourself with all required PPEs when performing the job

Participate in health and safety training and monthly meetings to avoid violations on food cross contamination and workplace safety

Address any questions and concerns on SOPs, food safety, and employee safety with supervisor for prompt resolution

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Ability to work in a diverse team environment

Ability to do basic mathematical calculation

Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Ability to work 1st shift, any consecutive from 4:30 am - 3:00 pm depending on assigned areas

Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

Physical requirement including frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 100 lbs; For instances when employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs and 100 lbs they must work in teams of two or use the proper equipment and tools for the job/task at hand. Ability to walk and stand for at least 2 hours or more at one time; exposure to loud noise, dust, chemicals, etc.
