Job summary

Kraft Heinz, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator at the Dover Plant to operate production and packaging equipment safely in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. You will perform set-ups, monitor lines, conduct quality checks, and support cross-training across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to learn and follow standard work, GMPs, safety standards, and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently following standard work and GMPs.
• Perform start-up, changeover, line clearance, start/stop, and shutdown activities.
• Monitor machine performance and product flow; adjust to maintain quality and production output.
• Complete quality checks and documentation (weights, seals, codes, temperatures).
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate complex problems to Maintenance or Leadership.
• Supply raw materials and packaging to equipment and assist with palletizing and product movement.
• Maintain accurate production records and document downtime and quality checks.

Machine Operator at a Glance...Machine Operators run and monitor manufacturing and packaging equipment to safely produce high-quality food products. This position may support the Beverages, Desserts, or Bakery departments based on business needs and available openings.
