Duties and Skill Requirements

1. Trains on basic fabrication machinery.
2. Demonstrates ability to read and understand blueprints.
3. Learns to hook up loads for overhead cranes.
4. Assists welders, machine operators, painters, and crane operators. May perform some or all of these duties.
5. Possesses ability to solve basic math problems including fractions, decimals, conversions, and measuring.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Physical Requirements

1. Walks over and stoops under workhorses.
2. Ability to squat, stoop, bend, and stand.
3. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
4. Ability to push and pull.
