Job summary

Buckeye Fire & Equipment Co is seeking a Machine Operator to join our Automated Weld Lines team. This full-time role involves operating HMI-driven equipment, inspecting welds, and maintaining product quality while logging production details.

The position requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and willingness to cross-train across product lines. Weekly attendance bonuses are offered, with an additional $1 per hour for hours worked on your scheduled shift.

Qualifications

• HMI experience is preferred; eagerness to learn HMI is required.
• Mechanically inclined to understand equipment operation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime on weekends when business conditions require.
• Willingness to cross-train on multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated weld line equipment using the Human Machine Interface (HMI) and adjust as needed.
• Inspect welds and cosmetic appearance to ensure product quality and proper specifications.
• Use hand tools to perform minor repairs or adjustments on equipment.
• Process product logs to maintain consistency and quality.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
