Job summary

Multimatic is seeking a capable machine operator to maintain and operate automated equipment on the production line. The role involves setup/changeover, in-line quality checks, and real-time communication with supervisors.

You will review process changes daily, adjust tooling as needed, and assist with troubleshooting and maintenance to keep lines running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be able to perform forklift operations at a high level and participate in continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and understanding process changes.
• Ability to read process books and implement countermeasures.
• Willingness to learn and participate in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Operate, set up, and change over machines.
• Review process books daily for quality or process changes and implement them.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs; assist skilled trades as needed.
• Maintain accurate production and quality reporting; ensure logs are complete.
• Be available for future training and potentially learn forklift operation at level 4+.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and assembly on the assigned line.
• Participate in corrective actions or continuous improvement activities.

Job description
