Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work safely, keep work area organized, clean, and hazard-free.
• Ensure parts conform to quality/drawing specifications using instruments like micrometers, calipers, gauges, and hardness testers.
• Apply knowledge of machining processes and equipment maintenance.
• Load and unload parts carefully into machines.
• Perform equipment run and preventive maintenance as required.
• Remove parts from machines and deposit in containers.
• Record work output results accurately.
• Process parts through cleaning operations.
• Operate related equipment efficiently.
• Communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong mathematical skills; able to reason and calculate times
• Ability to read, spell, and type at an average speed
• Accuracy, diplomacy, and tact in dealing with others
