Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate bending presses and heating units for hot or cold bending, forming, or offsetting.
  • Operate profile cutting machines, cranes, robotic scrap disposal, machining centers, and parts markers.
  • Select proper tooling based on code sheets or drawings and routing.
  • Monitor gauges and controls, making necessary adjustments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ensure quality work through inspections and maintain specifications per blueprints and ISO standards.
  • Communicate regularly with Design Engineers and team members for process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot, solve problems, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Foster a team environment and support customer needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/mechanical courses preferred.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Ability to perform physical activities typical of manufacturing environments.
  • Safety-sensitive position.
