Qualifications

• Understanding of basic math and reading to follow machinery diagrams and instructions.

• Pass company training and food safety certification programs.
• Basic computer entry for inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment assigned to own area.
• Operate enrobers, shrink/flow wrappers, cutting, melters, tempering machines.
• Follow SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and equipment procedures.
• Record production details: line rates, downtime, quality tests, total production.
• Ensure lines have required raw and packaging materials for each SKU.
• Transport waste, rework and trash with line associates.
• Verify production dates and codes.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Uphold food safety and quality systems.

About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Machine Operator - 3rd Shift, and are proactivlely reviewing applications. The Machine operator is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of their assigned lines. Machine operators must ensure procedures are followed, and quality and line speed standards are attained in a safe manner. Machine operators are required to effectively communicate requirements and standards to line associates and fill out the appropriate paperwork to record production and quality testing on their lines. The pay for this position is $21.00 per hour.

Main Responsibilities:

• The Machine Operator is required to operate all the equipment assigned to his/her area
• including enrobers, shrink or flow wrappers, cutting equipment, melters, and tempering machines
• Follow appropriate SOPPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and equipment specific procedures
• Record production details including line rates, downtime, quality tests, and total production
• Ensure lines are supplied with necessary and appropriate raw and packaging materials for each SKU
• Transport waste, rework and trash to the appropriate areas with line associates
• Ensure that all date and production codes are correct
• Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills
• Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems

• Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Ability to pass company training and certification programs with respect to machine operation, and food safety
