Rate: $20.25/hr + $3.00/hr shift premium ($23.25)

You must be willing to train on 1st shift for a short time(1 week -1 month based on skill level) before moving over to 3rd shift.

Role Summary : The Machine Operator is responsible for all setup and operation of machines in the designated department. Operators may work with computer-controlled equipment or more mechanically based machines.

SCHEDULE: 9:00 pm -7:00 am Monday through Thursday, with overtime scheduled on Friday, as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operation of various machines.
• Run material through machine according to company specifications.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Ensure correct materials are used to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure all inventory entries are complete and accurate.
• Inspect and maintain quality of product.
• Responsible for meeting all quality and efficiency standards.
• Meet all company safety policies and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machines.
• Test operation of machines periodically.
• Special projects as business dictates.
• Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

• The job is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, and moving mechanical parts.
• Safety gear must be worn as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Machine operator experience preferred; strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions including reading a tape measure, blueprints, production schematics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
