Packaging Machine Operator - 3rd shift - Interview Day 5/9/2025

Responsibilities
  • Set-up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate code dates, weights, and proper packaging of products.
  • Check that products are dated and sealed with minimal waste.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on packaging machines.
  • Wear protective gear when using chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Inspect conveyors and scales before start-ups and changeovers.
  • Troubleshoot common problems and make operational adjustments.
Role Details

We operate 24/7, so shifts may vary. The job is physical, requiring standing, lifting, and working near heavy machinery in a loud environment. Conditions are affected by weather and seasons, with limited temperature control.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
  • Mechanical inclination; at least 1 year of high-speed manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, and stretch for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read/write in English.
  • Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
