Job Overview

The Machine Operator at our Baldwin, WI location is responsible for set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
• Schedule and handle materials.
• Assure compliance with print specifications.
• Utilize computer programming.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use all designated personal protective equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of general safety practices.
• Knowledge of general metal material properties.
• Ability to work with close tolerances.
• Strong mechanical ability and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively.
• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-pace work environment.
• Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Pay Range: $26.14. This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations. This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
