Job summary

Donaldson Company in Baldwin, WI is seeking a Machine Operator on 2nd shift to set up and operate metalworking machines and fabricate to specifications. This on-site role runs Monday–Thursday, 3:15 p.m. to 1:15 a.m. Key duties include reading blueprints, scheduling materials, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and working with a team to meet production goals. The Machine Operator at our Baldwin, WI location is responsible for set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3:15 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.

Role Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
• Schedule and handle materials
• Assure compliance with print specifications.
• Utilize computer programming.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:

• Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired
• Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of general safety practices
• Knowledge of general metal material properties

Preferred Qualifications:

• have some press brake or sheet metal forming experience

Hourly Pay Range: $26.14

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.

This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
