Job summary

Donaldson Company in Auburn, AL is seeking an on-site first-shift Manufacturing Operator to set up and run Tube Cut Off, Bending, Amada, Canning Cells and Presses. You will follow blueprints, route sheets, and production schedules while ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, uploading/downloading CNC programs, and assisting with material handling. Flexibility for overtime and weekend work is required; DOT/HAZMAT compliance is essential.

  • Execute department schedule and handle materials.
  • Utilize route sheets and blueprints as needed to produce parts accordingly.
  • Serve as backup operator for other equipment.
  • Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment and LOTO as required.
  • Operate Forklift as needed.

The role is located on-site at our manufacturing site in Auburn, AL. This role is first shift with hours of 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and weekends as needed with hours of 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

  • Set up and operate Tube Cut Off, Bending, Amada, Canning Cells, and Presses to produce parts to customer specifications and production requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:

  • Demonstrate understanding blueprints, pack specs, shipping requirements, and route sheets.
  • Shows strong attention to detail, quality, production and safety.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Power Press or Tube Bending experience
  • Welding experience
  • Experience in the operation and setup of metal forming or cutting equipment.
