Job summary

Eaton's Power Reliability Division is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift at the South Milwaukee, WI facility. The position offers an hourly rate of $22.50 plus a $2.50 shift premium, with shift hours 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Overtime may be mandatory at times and is common in this role. Benefits include health and vacation time from day one, paid holidays, weekly pay, and opportunities for cross-training and career progression.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum six (6) months of previous manufacturing, military, or related experience.

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 2nd Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.50 + $2.50 shift premium per hour. The hours for this shift are 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm.

Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What you'll do

Eaton's Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our 2nd Shift team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain tolerances, inspection, and production standards.
• Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards.
• Operate multiple machines in manual machining work centers.
• Proficient use of micrometers, calipers, indicators, and various other measuring instruments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and follow general housekeeping (5S+) standard and autonomous maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum six (6) months of previous manufacturing, military, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year experience with operating manual drill & pin, deburring, or saw machines.

Position Success Criteria

• Ability to operate all workstations effectively.
• Ability to learn and operate in multiple machine cells.
• Ability to perform in a team matrix environment.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and any shift as needed.
• Must be able to walk/stand for 8 hours shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift 48lbs and push/pull 48 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
