ROLE OVERVIEW:

Machine operators operate blow molding machines efficiently to produce quality plastic parts while following environmental policies to ensure compliance with goals and objectives.

Shift: 2nd (4:00pm - 12:00am), Monday-Friday

Pay: $17.00 plus $1.00 shift differential

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor blow molding machines and operate controls.
• Remove plastic parts from machines manually, using steps or platforms if needed.
• Remove excess plastic (flash) from parts.
• Inspect parts for defects and quality.
• Weigh parts as per work instructions.
• Allow flash to cool and grind defective parts.
• Perform secondary operations as instructed.
• Follow work instructions precisely.
• Log shifts and reject entries into the Shop Floor Monitoring System.
• Package production parts as instructed.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and management.
• Perform all tasks following safety and procedural guidelines.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with up to 2 years relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Willingness to follow directions and work in a team environment.
• Ability to interpret job specifications and operate production machinery.

Physical Requirements:

• Bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and exposure to temperature variations.
