Volt is hiring for a Machine Operator (Lathe & Mill) in La Verne, CA.

As a Machine Operator (Lathe & Mill) you will:

• Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
• Screw machines with the appropiate hand tools.
• Must be able to read English written work instructions.
• Set up, operate, and monitor machines to create parts with specific dimensions and tolerances, following blueprints and job orders.
• Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet specifications using various instruments.
• change tools, and move controls to position workpieces and tools accurately.
• Operators continuously monitor machines to ensure they are operating correctly and within specified parameters.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
• Proven programing experience
• Must know how to read and understand blueprints
• Excellent reading and comprehension skills
• Good mathematical skills (basic, algebra etc.)
• Problem solving
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Rate: $24-$30 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
