DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for roll forming and unloading panel line operation. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of production techniques, great attention to detail, and a dedication to safety. Overtime is anticipated with this full-time, direct hire opportunity.

• Ability to read and comprehend documents including but not limited to policy manuals, safety rules/programs, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and simple correspondence.
• Ability to communicate information effectively one-on-one and in small group situations and settings.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform work instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to solve problems involving multiple variables in a standard situation.
• Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with a diversified workforce.
• Willingness to cross train and be promotable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment.
• Experience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation is a plus.
• Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools.
• Willingness to train, certify, and operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments.
