Our client, MPUSA is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production floor supporting manufacturing operations. Pay Range: $20.35 - $22.35 (after 90 day review)
Shift: Second Shift 4P - 12:30A
What's the Job?
- Perform setup for various manufacturing machines and equipment to support production.
- Operate computer-operated and/or mechanical machines to produce parts and products according to Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) and Bills of Material (BOM).
- Review job information in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system daily to determine orders to process.
- Manually load materials into machines, maintain inventory of materials needed for production orders, and place finished parts into proper bins.
- Complete periodic checks and daily routine maintenance, perform standard tests after each operation, and update the ERP for work performed.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 months of machine operation experience, preferably in a production environment.
- Competence operating computer systems and completing basic data entry in ERP or related systems.
- Ability to learn assigned responsibilities and follow production procedures; able to attain MPS training sign-off within 90 days.
- Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and/or move materials up to 30 lbs; use hoists for materials over 30 lbs, and perform repetitive work requiring constant alertness.
