Job Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up the production line, collaborating with the team, reading and understanding job tickets, and ensuring proper processing of all jobs. The work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 1:45 pm - 11:45 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow Job Ticket Instructions accurately, complete paperwork, and obtain approvals
• Set up and adjust layouts, diagnose errors, and manage start-up and shutdown procedures
• Check and maintain machine operation, call maintenance if needed
• Verify duties with production assistants and communicate instructions clearly
• Ensure product quality and perform quality checks
• Communicate effectively with team members and complete end-of-shift reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Sufficient computer skills for machine adjustments
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Understanding of job database software
• Ability to navigate PC screens and menus
• Knowledge of delivery system equipment (belts, sensors, vacuums, shingling)
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Experience with Inserter or Folder Gluer is a plus
• Ability to remain stationary and move on a concrete floor for the shift duration
• Repetitive lifting and pushing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to operate around machines

Salary: $20-$26 per hour
