Job summary

Schwan's is hiring for a full-time production role in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement. The starting pay is $19.75 per hour, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for hours 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The position requires availability at both Pasadena and Deer Park plants, with first shift. Benefits include weekly pay, paid time off, holidays, 401k with company match, disability plans, and multiple health/dental/vision plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like standing, bending, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
• Control line speeds, batch formula production rates, and overall product quality and safety.
• Perform quality checks and complete required paperwork (e.g., downtime, HACCP).
• Utilize SAP SOPs and safety training as appropriate.
