Starting Pay: $18.25 per hour
Additional $1.50 shift differential from 6 pm – 6 am
Shift: 2nd
Location: Must be available to work at both our Pasadena and Deer Park plants as needed

What We Are Looking For

Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, 0-1 years of experience preferred, must be 18 years of age
Fast-paced environment; physically active
Operate machines safely with minimal supervision
Lift up to 50 lbs; bending, carrying, pushing, pulling and other activities as needed
Communicate and problem solve with coworkers
Stand and walk on concrete for long periods
Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day
Perform basic math and obtain necessary production specifications
Pass information to co-workers and relay information to/from all employee levels including management
Work different hours including overtime or weekend shifts (hours may change based on production schedule)
Post-offer, pre-placement background checks and drug screen may be required

Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing equipment with simple functions
Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production startup
Control line speeds, batch formula, production rates, and overall safety and product quality
Perform quality checks
Use PPE (bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, ear protection, hair/beard nets, gloves, safety shoes or boots)
Complete required paperwork (downtime, HACCP, etc.; using SAP, SOPs, safety operations, training as appropriate)
Conduct yourself in a manner aligned with company mission, values, and policies
