Job summary

Divine Brothers Company is seeking a Machine Operator to learn and operate specialized machinery, advancing to other machines to build depth across departments. The role involves handling rolls of material, measuring to BOM specifications, and identifying cloth and buffing wheel types.

The position requires basic math, reading, and the ability to speak, read, and write English. Work involves lifting up to 50–100 lbs and exposure to loud, dusty environments; this is a full-time on-site role in

Responsibilities

• Pull, cut, and measure materials for assigned jobs as defined on Bills of Materials.
• Load Rolled Material onto machine.
• Identify Cloth and Buffing Wheel types.
• Visually inspect parts that are completed off press or Jackson lathe for defects.
• Operate various machines, which mold or punch out parts for buff centers.
• Form and spot weld rims and weld assembled cartridge buffs.
• Assist with unloading cargo trucks with rolls of material.
• Use manual and assisted lifting devices as necessary.

General Description:

The Machine Operator position will mainly learn one specialized machine, and then branch out to learn other machines, in an effort to create depth in departments.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
