Job summary

Schaeffler in Danbury, CT is seeking an Equipment Operator to support production lines, set up machines, load tooling, and run processes according to work orders.

You will monitor production, perform checks, document deviations, and assist maintenance. The role requires basic measurement tools, ability to read instructions in English, and lifting moderately heavy parts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Experience operating basic manufacturing machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines for production of various products, as assigned.
• Prepare machines for production by tooling and parametrization per work order.
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes.
• Check production status within and between sequences and address deviations.
• Inspect finished parts and conduct tests as required.
• Support maintenance during inspections and repairs.

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to operate basic machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
