Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Operator in Winsted, CT to run and prepare machinery for the production program.

You will perform operations, monitor processes, and verify finished parts, while supporting routine maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English, and possess the ability to lift medium-heavy objects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Export Control requires a “US Person” (US Citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee).

Responsibilities

• Operate machines for production of various products, as assigned.
• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order.
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes.
• Check production status within and between sequences and take action for deviations.
• Check finished parts and perform tests or checks as required.
• Support maintenance in regular inspections and repair measures.
