Job description

Position Overview

This Onsite 2nd Shift position (Monday – Thursday, 4:15 pm – 2:45 am) requires U.S. citizenship. The role is located in Asheville, NC. Employees must remain in this role for 12 months before posting to a new position.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines (washer, shot peen, furnace, water & air flow, electrode assembly, laser weld, tack weld, laser ablation, tape & wax, x‑ray, bake, and detailer).
• Produce blades and/or vanes while performing routine and complex operations per standard work procedures.
• Read process sheets, gauge, deburr, clean parts, make minor offset changes, change setups, and document information on check sheets.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy using measuring devices and compare to blueprint specifications.
• Clock labor in Solumina and perform daily Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM).
• Keep equipment and work area clean following 5S principles.
• Frequently move about the machine line (approximately 90% of the time) to operate equipment and transport products weighing up to 10 lbs.
• Carry out additional tasks as required within the scope and skill level of the position to support department objectives.

• Previous manufacturing experience. (Associate degree and/or Advanced Manufacturing Certification is preferred.)
