Position Summary

Machine Operator 1 – 2nd Shift (Mon‑Fri, 2‑10pm) – Middletown, PA. Operates a variety of production machines such as CMM, polish wheel, airflow, waterflow, shot peen, furnace, grinding machines, EDM, etc., and performs routine operations to produce high‑quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations, read and interpret process sheets, deburr and clean parts, gauge parts, make minor offset changes with oversight.
• Frequently utilize measuring devices to assess product acceptance based on blueprint specifications.
• Clock labor in Solumina, perform preventative maintenance and document results.
• Document information on check sheets, keep dimensional data on run charts, and complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) with communication log.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and maintain acceptable quality levels.
• Operate various manufacturing equipment (≈90% of the time) and transport product or equipment weighing up to 10lbs.
• Run all equipment in the entire work loop and produce product at the rate specified by standard work.
• Carry out additional tasks as required within the scope and skill level of the position to support department objectives and develop skills.
• Adhere to ACE guidelines, CORE duties, and EH&S guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
