Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Clayville, NY is seeking a Production Operator for an onsite role. You will demonstrate proper methods, run CNC programs or operate saws, and help produce parts with quality targets, while supporting continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

The position requires a high school diploma, offers benefits, and a Friday-Sunday 7:00pm–7:00am shift with 3x12 schedule. Onsite work and local site status will be discussed during recruitment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the US).

• Run written CNC programs OR operate Kasto saws with minor supervision.
• Produce a number of uncomplicated parts that shows good faith in obtaining the desired production rate and quality.

• Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

This role is

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Salary range

The salary range for this role is $21.00 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
