Job Description

Role Overview

The Operator is responsible for their assigned machine, ensuring optimal uptime, output, and efficiency while maintaining safety and food safety standards, including GMP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote safety, customer focus, and operational effectiveness.
2. Maximize equipment productivity and eliminate losses.
3. Foster a sense of ownership and team involvement.
4. Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Identify and troubleshoot machine issues.
6. Mentor and train team members.
7. Ensure proper housekeeping and safety training compliance.
8. Inspect products and ensure packaging accuracy.
9. Maintain data accuracy and operate machinery proficiently.

Role Breakdown

• Machine Operation - 90%
• Testing - 5%
• Reporting - 5%

Relationships

Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors, operations managers, quality managers, and other team members.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Physical ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
