Job Title: Sort Machine Operator

Location: Utica, Michigan

Schedule: Mon - Fri & Sat as needed, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Role of a Sort Machine Operator:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to ensure quality control, packaging accuracy, and efficient sorting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate sorting machines to categorize items based on size, weight, or other criteria.
2. Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
4. Label and stack finished goods according to standards.
5. Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
6. Perform quality checks and remove defective items.
7. Record data and report inconsistencies.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Commitment to perfect attendance during training.
• Ability to read instructions and complete paperwork.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, and sit as needed.
• Effective communication skills.
