Join Our Team as a Machine Operator/Assembler

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing parts, operating injection molding presses, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with 5S and Lean manufacturing systems is a plus. Principal Responsibilities

1. Assemble parts according to instructions.
2. Test assembled parts for accuracy and functionality.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
4. Maintain good attendance and a positive attitude.
5. Operate injection molding presses to produce products.
6. Perform visual inspection, trimming, and packing of injection molded plastic products.
7. Identify molding defects such as shorts, splay, burns, flash, color swirls, and contamination.
8. Complete and maintain accurate production, scrap, and downtime paperwork.
9. Train to run multiple presses and assemble products at standard cycle times.
10. Follow verbal and written instructions within a manufacturing environment.
11. Adhere to all company and facility policies and safety standards at all times.
12. Perform other tasks in other departments as assigned by the Plant Manager or delegate.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in injection molding or assembly.
• Ability to be cross-trained and master multiple positions and responsibilities.
• Effective team player with professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity and experience with 5S and Lean manufacturing systems is strongly preferred.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
