Recco Products in Wayland, MI is seeking a Machine Operator to operate CNC lathes, mills, and manual lathes to produce precision parts in accordance with AS9100 quality processes.

You will maintain accurate records, follow safety guidelines, and communicate with supervision and QC to ensure timely, defect-free components. This full-time, on-site role offers growth opportunities within a team-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC lathes and mills per drawings/work orders.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Able to pass a 5-panel drug screen including marijuana.
• American citizenship due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in machining principles and techniques.
• Perform designated operations as per drawing/ work order requirements.
• Assist in setting up and adjusting equipment according to safety guidelines and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of machining activities, including part numbers, quantities, methods used, and any issues encountered.
• Communicate with supervisor, quality control personnel, and other team members to address workflow issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Perform maintenance on department equipment as required; and maintain a clean, organized work area to promote efficiency, safety, and a positive work environment.
