Pursuit Aerospace, a global aerospace manufacturer, seeks an Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator in Malden, MA, for 1st shift. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• 1–3 years machining background or related experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to perform ITAR/EAR regulated work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce aerospace parts.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement edits and ensure parts meet blueprints.
• Maintain multiple machines in a cellular environment and manage feeds and speeds.
• Inspect dimensional features and ensure quality in accordance with work orders.
• Complete paperwork for counts, scrap, and time per company policy.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and assist others as needed.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC Machines, ensure precision manufacturing of aerospace components, and adhere to strict quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

1st shift

Responsibilities

• Set Up and operates CNC lathes and/or Milling machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
• Work with our Engineers and Programmers to make all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketches.
• The ability to operate more than one machine in a cellular environment is required.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application.
• Inspects work for all dimensional features as required.
• Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements.
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. According to Company policy.
• Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, safe, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
• Maintains coolant tanks and fills as necessary.
• Trains, guides, and assists other employees as required.
• Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 1-3 years or more of Machining background and/or experience in a machine shop.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of G and M Codes.
• Able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Troubleshooting Skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.
