Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Operate automated production machinery in the Celox and Thermocouple departments
• Monitor machine performance to ensure products are manufactured according to quality and production standards
• Utilize PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) control panels to operate equipment and make necessary adjustments
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine issues to minimize production interruptions
• Clear machine jams and perform routine machine adjustments to maintain optimal operation
• Load raw materials and components into machinery and unload finished products safely and efficiently
• Conduct equipment inspections and report mechanical or operational issues to maintenance personnel
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of machinery as required
• Verify product quality through visual inspections and measurement checks
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Follow all company safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, technicians, maintenance personnel, and team members to achieve production goals
• Assist in changeovers and machine setups when necessary

Machine Operator Requirements

• Previous experience operating automated production or manufacturing equipment required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery preferred
• Ability to identify machine malfunctions and make operational adjustments as needed
• Manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work around moving machinery and production equipment safely
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain productivity standards
• Preferred - Experience with automated assembly, production, or process equipment
• Understanding of manufacturing safety practices and quality control procedures
