CNC Machine Operator

Mission

1. Understand specifications and desired results by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
2. Translate instructions into computer commands for machine operation.
3. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
4. Conduct test runs to ensure outputs meet specifications.
5. Operate CNC machines for tasks like drilling, grinding, and milling.
6. Maintain enthusiasm for learning new skills and techniques.
7. Keep the work area clean.
8. Promote and prioritize safety at all times.

Required Skills

• Minimum of three years' experience with CNC mills.
• Proficient in CNC milling techniques and practices.
• Knowledge of G-Coding programming is preferred.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and understand GD&T.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, capable of performing mathematical calculations.
• Comfortable working with decimals and fractions.
• Experience with basic measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
