Job Summary

The Block Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.

Essential Functions

• Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain block machines and related equipment throughout the production cycle.
• Control machine settings and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Meet weekly and monthly production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect finished and pre-finished products and take corrective actions.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding safety, quality, and maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Mechanical inclination; electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic skills a plus
• Forklift operation skills a plus
• Flexible schedule with overtime during peak seasons

Work Environment
