A bit about the role:

We only work 3-4 days a week! Our facilities operate four different 12-hour shifts. Currently, we are looking to fill positions on the following shifts:

Day shift schedules:
  • 3rd shift: Fri – Sun (+ every other Thurs during peak season), 4am – 4pm (+$1/hr shift diff.)
Overnight shifts:
  • 2nd Shift: Mon – Wed (+ every other Thurs during peak season), 4pm – 4am (+$1/hr shift diff.)
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safety:
    • Comprehend and adhere to all safety guidelines including participating in safety training and contributing to a safe work environment.
    • “See something, do something” mentality.
  • Quality:
    • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards, reporting any issues or defects and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Productivity:
    • Understand department production processes and standards, and support adherence.
    • Consistently achieve throughput standards on less complex equipment.
    • Perform routine and preventative maintenance (PMs) as scheduled.
  • Teamwork:
    • Ability to provide on-the-job training.
    • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals are met.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • The ability to work safely.
  • Strong organizational skills, including maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Understand basic mathematics.
  • Read, understand, and use measuring tools.
  • Adaptable to change including the ability to meet deadlines while ensuring attention to detail.
  • Follow written and oral instructions and a “procedure-oriented” approach to tasks.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
Qualifications:
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., mobility to crouch, kneel, reach, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms.
  • High school or vocational/technical school diploma or certificate.
  • Must be flexible on work schedule, including other departments/shifts to accommodate business needs.
  • Experience with high-volume repetitive manufacturing preferred.
