Pay Rate:

$21.50

Work Schedule:

2nd Shift - 3:45pm-2:15am (Overtime on Fridays may be required)

Summary:

Follow batch records and SOPs to operate manufacturing equipment that produces or finishes oral doses of tablets or capsules.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Read work orders for product specifications, materials, weights, dimensions, and tolerances.
2. Set up, start up, shut down, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment to ensure safety, quality, and quantity.
3. Monitor equipment such as presses, encapsulation machines, coating pans for adjustments and reporting abnormalities.
4. Load and unload machinery with raw materials and finished products.
5. Measure and examine materials and finished products for standard conformance, removing non-conforming items.
6. Record operational and production data, update signage, and collect samples.
7. Perform sanitation of equipment and work areas as specified.
8. Report problems to Management or Quality Assurance.
9. Report to work regularly and on time.
10. Perform duties safely and report unsafe conditions.
11. Assist in other duties as needed and directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Mathematical skills, accuracy in arithmetic.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
• Ability to work well with others.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

• Operation, control monitoring, troubleshooting equipment, quality, and processes.
• Attention to detail, problem sensitivity, and information organization skills.
• Knowledge of food production processing.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lift 35 lbs., occasionally move up to 100 lbs. with pallet jacks.
• Stand for 10-hour shifts, walk, and pull as required.
• Use near vision, hearing, and manual dexterity.
