What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
* Use computerized manufacturing technologies or related systems to meet production and customer requirements.
* Perform set-up duties on fabrication equipment and the safety devices in accordance with production documentation.
* Position production materials and tooling and maintains accurate dimensions according to print specifications.
* Operate and adjusts various equipment, including controllers, and edits programs according to production documentation.
* Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
* Follow all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to team leader or appropriate resource.
* Ensure that products and systems meet CADDY quality standards.
* Inspects work to ensure accurate dimensional requirements are met per prints.
* Perform specified preventative maintenance procedures, and assists Maintenance and outside sources with trouble-shooting systems.
* Take action and notifies appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, etc.
* Participate actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
* May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
You have:
* Minimum of One Year Prior Experience in Machine Operating
* Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
* Knowledge of all operations of the assigned production process required
* Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.
* Skill in analytical thinking and problem solving
* Skills or Ability in mechanical repairs or solving
* Forklift licensed or ability to acquire one.
* Ability to lift, slide and shake heavy gauges of material.
* Ability to read and use measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)
* Ability to identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Production Supervisor.
* Ability to adapt to constantly evolving business circumstance and have the ability to thrive.
