What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  1. Use computerized manufacturing technologies or related systems to meet production and customer requirements.
  2. Perform set-up duties on fabrication equipment and safety devices in accordance with production documentation.
  3. Position production materials and tooling, maintaining accurate dimensions according to print specifications.
  4. Operate and adjust various equipment, including controllers, and edit programs as per production documentation.
  5. Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
  6. Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or hazards.
  7. Ensure products and systems meet quality standards.
  8. Inspect work to meet dimensional requirements per prints.
  9. Perform preventative maintenance and assist with troubleshooting systems.
  10. Take action and notify relevant personnel when issues arise concerning equipment, operations, or materials.
  11. Participate in continuous improvement activities as a team member.
  12. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

You have:

  • Minimum of one year prior experience in machine operating.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra.
  • Knowledge of all operations of the assigned production process.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and the ability to promote compliance.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical repair skills or ability.
  • Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift, slide, and handle heavy materials.
  • Ability to read and use measuring equipment (e.g., tape measure, caliper).
  • Support for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business circumstances and thrive.
