Job summary

ReVive Fiber in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a machine operator for the 3rd shift (midnight to 8:00 am). The role operates LaRoche and Margasa machines, setting feed rates and adjusting parameters to achieve consistent, high-quality finished material.

Training on the 1st shift (8am–4pm) is provided prior to transitioning to the 3rd shift. Candidate must have at least 6 months of machine operation experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, read and write, and maintain reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• RELIABLE ATTENDANCE IS A MUST.

Responsibilities

• Operate LaRoche and Margasa machines and associated equipment to affect timely and quality production.
• Set machine feed rate and adjust operating parameters for optimum settings for each grade.
• Perform routine servicing procedures for box discharge systems and machines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Recommend safety improvements and production improvements.
• Comply with all safety and management programs.
• Be an active participant in work team development.
• Keep workplace clean and orderly.
• Provide on-the-job training as assigned by supervisor for other employees.

Job Description

Responsible for operation of LaRoche and Margasa machines and associated equipment to affect the timeliness and quality production of finished material. This is accomplished by setting the machine feed rate and adjusting the machine operating parameters to the most common optimum settings for each grade. The operator should be skilled at routine servicing procedures for box discharge systems and machines.
