Job summary

ReVive Fiber is seeking a Machine Operator for the Spartanburg, SC area to run LaRoche and Margasa machines on a 3rd shift cycle after training on the 1st shift. The role requires the ability to lift at least 50 lbs and to work at heights or in confined spaces.

Machine Operator

Full Time Operative Spartanburg, SC, US

Salary Range: $15.00 To $16.00 Annually

3RD SHIFT SCHEDULE - shift start time = Midnight / end time = 8am

Work location = 2650 Southport Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for operation of LaRoche and Margasa machines and associated equipment to affect the timeliness and quality production of finished material. This is accomplished by setting the machine feed rate and adjusting the machine operating parameters to the most common optimum settings for each grade. The operator should be skilled at routine servicing procedures for box discharge systems and machines.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Recommend safety improvements
• Recommend production improvements
• Comply with all safety and management programs
• Be an active participant in work team development
• Keep workplace clean and orderly
• Provide on the job training as assigned by supervisor for other employees.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Capable of performing tasks including but not limited to:

working at heights and working in confined spaces.

Able to read, write and convey ideas.

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs with adequate body flexibility.
