Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a detail‑oriented Machine Operator Level 1. You will run an extrusion/assembly line, cut parts to length, machine and fabricate components, and perform deburring and packaging of finished products.

This entry level role offers hands‑on training in a clean, climate‑controlled environment with safety as a top priority. Qualifications include reading shop orders and basic blueprints, English literacy, basic math, and the use of precision

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret shop orders, basic blue prints, shop drawings, process alerts, work instructions, etc.
• Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math functions at a 12th grade level.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Has passion for their work and Ducommun; finds creative and unique ways to contribute to the team.
