Ducommun, Inc. in Carson, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician (Mechanical) to build, assemble, and modify fixtures, jigs, tooling, test setups, and prototypes, and to perform CNC programming and production validation under engineering guidance.
You will read mechanical drawings, set up CNC programs, and train operators while following project timelines and protecting CUI/ITAR data. Base pay is USD 33.00–38.00 per hour.
The
Engineering Technician (Mechanical) supports all Engineering teams by
performing hands-on mechanical assembly, fixture builds, CNC programming,
prototype builds and production process validation. This position requires
strong practical skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow
technical instructions under Engineering guidance. When Engineering workload is
low, the technician may support Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) repair
activities or production.
