Work Environment

The role involves working rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Conditions may be hot, humid, cold, dusty, noisy, and may involve exposure to dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and mitigate risks

• Prioritize high-value work
• Operate within operational targets and limits
• Perform basic care and lubrication, troubleshoot minor malfunctions
• Assist with repairs and changeovers
• Perform physically demanding tasks

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, farming, construction, or military environment
• Teamwork experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Pulp and/or paper industry experience
• Over 1 year of equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience
• Experience working swing or night shifts
• Forklift operation experience
