Your responsibilities
Job Summary

Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned.Job Description

Machine Operator - Metal Cutting (2nd Shift) | $23-$25/hr + $0.50 Shift Premium | $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Join our team as a Machine Operator - Metal Cutting on 2nd shift! We're looking for a reliable, safety-minded individual to help us process and cut metal materials with precision and care.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay: $23-$25 (based on experience)

  • Shift Premium: Additional $0.50/hr for 2nd shift

  • Sign-On Bonus: $1,000!

  • Shift: 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machines to cut metal and material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.)

  • Read and follow work orders, setup notes, and written instructions

  • Inspect and measure materials before and after processing

  • Set up equipment safely and accurately

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines

  • Package and tag materials per specifications

  • Record quality measurements and track non-conforming materials

  • Communicate with team and sales reps for order accuracy

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

  • Train others and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to read and write

  • Basic math skills

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Strong focus on safety

  • Material Handler certification (or willingness to get certified)

  • Experience in metal cutting

  • Forklift operation

  • Use of hand-held measuring tools

  • Comfortable using computers
