Job summary

Surestaff is hiring a Molding Cell Operator in Batavia, IL to manage the full molding process. Responsibilities include setting up and operating injection molding machines, reading specifications, and delivering finished products for delivery.

This role emphasizes safety, speed, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have production/manufacturing experience, plastics molding experience is a plus, and must be flexible for overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing/machine operation.
• Plastic molding experience is a plus.
• Must be flexible to overtime and extra shifts.
• Experience reading/interpreting production specifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a group of three or more employees at one or more machines to make a family of parts.
• Set-up and operate injection molding machines, vision systems, downstream equipment, and material feed equipment.
• Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems.
• Safe, accurate, and timely execution of tooling changeovers per work instructions.
• Set up and adjust assembly, auxiliary, and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues.

Job description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Molding Cell Operators for a plastic fabrication company in Batavia, IL. The Molding Cell Operator will manage the entire molding process, including equipment set-up, reading and following specifications, inspecting molds, and delivering finished products to end-user for delivery. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $16-$16.75/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts: 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm
