Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a production technician to perform simple machine setups and operate equipment used in manufacturing. You will inspect parts, ensure tolerances, and maintain a clean, safe work area while documenting work performed.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, ability to read measurements, and familiarity with hand tools. Prior experience in production and blueprint reading is beneficial, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Job Purpose

Perform simple setups and operate equipment which may include but not limited to manual punch press, shears, saws, drill press, timesaver, wash and tumbler.

Working Conditions

Must be able to lift 35 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs with assistance. Work will also involve repetitive motion. Work area can be noisy.

Compensation and Benefits

Your base wage will be between $19.00 - $22.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined. This position is eligible for a $1.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on 3rd shift, in addition to the base hourly wage.
