Job summary

Threaded Fasteners, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Machine Operator who will receive daily assignments from the Operations Manager or Team Lead, be trained on the machines, and follow procedures posted or directed by management.

You will operate cutting, threading, headers, benders and other manufacturing equipment, ensure on-time completion, perform quality checkpoints, maintain safety and housekeeping, complete paperwork, and use a forklift to load and carry materials.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift certification or training is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates cutting machines, threading machines, headers, benders, and a variety of other manufacturing equipment.
• Assures assignments are completed on time.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates cutting machines, threading machines, headers, benders, and a variety of other manufacturing equipment


• Assures their assignments are completed on time


• Responsible for the quality checkpoints on each machine as posted


• Responsible for the safety and housekeeping of their area


• Completes paperwork according to the manager's instructions


• Uses forklifts to load and carry materials

Education And Experience Required

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution


• Forklift Certification

Preferred Education, Experience, And Skills

• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment, and successful completion of a forklift training program


• Ability to identify parts to be processed on their machine


• Effective written and verbal communication skills


• Strong organizational skills & Mathematical skills


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail


• Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety Requirements
