Job summary

Wall Colmonoy in Oklahoma City is seeking a Machine Operator to be an important member of the manufacturing team and to machine various parts to the correct specifications. The role includes reading blueprints or job orders, operating machinery, setting up and running presses, and using basic hand tools.

The candidate will verify that parts are of high quality, follow PPE and safety requirements, and work with the team to meet customer expectations in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years' experience and/or Vo-Tech training
• Knowledge of aerospace assemblies and parts (preferred)
• Ability to read and understand instructions; quality control; and safety.
• Effective verbal, written communications skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must be able to read, evaluate and respond to product specifications and drawings.

SUMMARY:

The Machine Operator is an important member of the manufacturing team and is responsible for machining various parts to the correct specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reads blueprint or job order for product.
• Operate machinery, set-up and run presses.
• Able to use basic hand tools.
• Verifies that parts are of high quality and exceed customer's expectations.
• Observe all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and observe all safety requirements such as machining guards, lifting techniques, slips and falls prevention, etc.
