Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $22.35/Hour
Shift: 3rd Shift - Train on 1st Shift for up to 8 Weeks
QPS Employment Group is seeking motivated individuals for a Production Associate position with a leading company in the manufacturing industry. This is a great opportunity for those who want to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and be part of a team committed to quality and safety.
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate production and distribution equipment for a majority of the shift
- Perform equipment adjustments to maintain product quality and handle line changeovers independently
- Work with powerful rare earth magnets and assist in packaging projects
- Inspect and verify product accuracy, handle materials, and perform quality control checks
- Maintain equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist with routine maintenance
- Assist in the training of new team members and work closely with other departments to resolve issues
- Follow safety, sanitation, and food safety protocols to reduce waste and ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in continual improvement initiatives and report any safety concerns
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- High school diploma or GED
- Food experience a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English, and work well within a team
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally lift up to 100lbs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate machinery
- Ability to take initiative
